First Christian Labyrinth Design in Highland
We received a special request from a local church who wanted a prayer labyrinth design. It’s not a project that everyone is willing to take on since it required a certain amount of detail, but we jumped at the idea. They requested a seven-circuit labyrinth path. Working with the church members, and a local contractor, we made sure the work could be done and created an initial plan with the right amount of circuits (walking loops), planting accents and a central pausing place to pray or reflect. We made sure the installation plan worked with their budget and were excited to help them get this much completed. A local contractor created the paths, entry, and central patio landings. Volunteers helped with plantings and extra details from the design plan.
This space is open to the community and has held a few special reflection events as well as a wedding.
